1.All India Punjabi Writers Conference at Srinagar in July 1975 which was inaugrated by Late Giani Zail Singh the then Chief Minister Punjab & Presided over by Late Shre-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohd. Abdullah, the then Chief Minister of J&K State.

2. Travelled to Muzaffrabad from Srinagar in the first Karvan-e- Aman bus which piled from Srinagar to Pak-Adm. Kashmir after 1947 as group leader on 7th of April 2005.

3. Attended World Punjabi Conference at Lahore in January 2004 as the only delegate from J&K. More than 150 Punjabi Writers/Artists/Singers from all over the country attended the said conference under the leadership of S. Amrinder Singh Chief Minister Punjab(India).

4. Also Attended World Punjabi Conferences at Chandigarh , Patiala and Lahore during the period between 2005 & 2006 as delegate from J&K.

5. Attended Seminar on Mian Mir at Lahore-2007.

6. "Inter-State Culture Programme"(Poonch Mela), 1990 J&K.

7. "Ek Sham Bashir Badr Ke Naam" at Poonch(J&K), 1999.

8. "Ek Sham Nide Fazli Ke Naam" at Poonch(J&K), 2000.

9. Also organized All India Munshairas at Doda, Poonch, Rajouri, Jammu.

10. With active cooperation of Mohd Aslam Qurashi, President & Masud Chowdhary, the Patron of Jammu Civil Society for Art and Literature, organized "Jashn-e- Faiz Ahmed Faiz" on 10th and 11th of December- 2011 at General Zorawar singh Auditorium of Jammu University. Famous singers of India and Pakistan mesmerized the audience. Daughter of Faiz Ahamed Faiz; Saleema Hashmi and eminent poets from Pakistan and India participated in the “ Jashn-e-Faiz” .Hon’ble Chief Minister of J&K Sh Omar Abdullah presided over the event and hosted dinner for Pakistani and Indian Artists/Poets on 10th of Dec-2011. A similar dinner was hosted by the Chairman, Legislative Council J&K on 11th of Dec-2011. This memorable event was big success.

11. Some of the Punjabi short stories penned by the author remained part of the syllabi of Punjabi University Patiala, Punjab University Chandigarh and Lahore and Jammu University Jammu.

12. Delivered lectures and presented papers on various subjects and themes pertaining to Punjabi literature in Colleges, Universities, Fora, Seminars and Assembly of Punjabi Literature luminaries.
